Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Myers Family Reunion

This last weekend was the Myers Family Reunion!! It was a weekend of fun and food!! It was great to see all my dad's family. His brother from Chico, California and his family came up and it was so great to see them since we don't get to see them all that much!! My cousin and her family we able to come up from Texas and it was so great to see them!! It is amazing to see how much children grow when you don't see them regularly!

Friday, Aaron went golfing as part of the annual Myers Family Golf Tournament. He played his best game ever getting a 92!! He came back so proud, he was beaming! I am glad he had fun, it is nice there is something he enjoys doing that allows him to relax from the stress of his job and being the sole provider for our family!! He deserves a little play time!

Friday night, we watched a movie on the cinderblock wall at my parent's home. Dad popped popcorn and we all vegged out and enjoyed!! It is crazy to see how the family grows from year to year. It is fun to have these reunions and be able to catch up with everyone.

Saturday we went to a park and enjoyed a fantastic BBQ!! The kids played at the nearby playground and we enjoyed a nice little walk. There was a fun game of Family Feud and it was funny to see how "feud" is such a fitting name! Just kidding, it is all in good fun.
