Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Wonderful Friends!!

You know how when you move somewhere new and wonder if you are going to create good friendships? Well, I am so grateful to have made some wonderful friends since moving out here to Eagle Mountain. There is one that I am truly grateful to have met her and become friends with!! Jennifer is one of those people that when you are around them, you can't help but smile and feel good. She has been a blessing in my life and saved me from a lot of feelings of loneliness. Anyway, she came over last night and brought me the cutest diaper bag ever!! She made it herself and it is so cute!! She is so talented and I am grateful to be on the receiving end!! She is pregnant also, due on the 21 of this month, so we have been enduring the heat of the summer together!!

I am so glad that you have someone to help ease the loneliness! It is good to know that someone is taking care of my baby sister! And to be having a baby at the same time on top of it! Makes you kindred!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm just as lucky to have a friend like you just down the street.

Has baby come? No go so far for us. We just have to keep smiling!
