Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Merry Christmas a Little Late

We are a little behind, but here is the 411 on our Christmas holiday this year...oh wait I mean last year!:)

Aaron and I woke the kids up early so they could open their presents. They are usually up at about 7, but for some reason they decided to sleep in on Christmas morning. All we had to whisper was, "Santa was here!" and they bolted up out of bed. We decided to let Marshall sleep in since he is probably too young to understand all the excitement....and who wants to deal with a grumpy 4 month old? Not I!! All in all we had a very good Christmas...a huge thanks goes out to our family's secret Santa, you know who you are, and their help in making our kids Christmas much better than it would have been otherwise!!

We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Bailey for dinner and games. After stopping by Grandma Suzi's and Grandpa Freddie's for a quick moment so the kids could get their traditional Christmas Eve PJs!!

While it was stormy on the outside we were cozy on the inside playing with the new EleFun game from aunt Misty, Xander and Zoe! And all the cool toys the kids got from Santa!! We were fortunate to be invited over to Jennifer and Jon's home for dinner! We went and enjoyed turkey and all the fixin's with wonderful friends!! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family, friends and neighbors!!

We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with many happy memories!! Wishes for a prosperous New Year!
