Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Snow Adventures

After days and days of the kids bugging us to go play in the snow Aaron and I finally relented. Well, mostly Aaron I was on picture duty...that way I don't need to be in the pictures!! See, I have this stuff figured out:)

The kids had a great time playing the snow. We wanted to make a snowman, but the snow had melted and then froze too many times and so it was not very pack-able. It was just right for playing in though. Aaron showed off his talents of doing flips into the pile of snow shoveled off the driveway, Lizzy tried to do it too, but mostly just jumped into the snow! After I put the camera down, I got into the action and made a snow angel. While I was trying to get up out of the snow the kids came and piled on top of me and then they started to bury me in the snow!!! I think Aaron actually started that one! It got pretty cold, pretty quickly!!

It is good fun to be able to have those days where we can laugh and play and have a good time with our families without worrying about the stress of life.
