Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

First Field Trip
Last Thursday, Liza had her very first field trip. I had the opportunity to go with her and we had so much fun!! They went downtown to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. It was fun to watch her and her little friend go from place to place and play with all the little things they have to offer. They have this little house, little grocery store, gas station, construction zone, water thing and so much more. While in the little house she loved being in the kitchen, which didn't surprise me at all since she loves to help me make meals and do our baking! She was very much in her element while in the little house. She takes after me a little too much....it was through her that I came to realize I am maybe a little more bossy than I should be;) It is great to see her enjoying school so much. She is really becoming an independent big girl!! Ready or not her comes the next stage of our lives!
