Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Caidin is 1!!!

Happy Birthday Caidin!!! Today was Caidin's first birthday!!! He is getting so big! He is not walking yet, but he is getting close! He cruises along the walls and furniture, but he is still a little timid about trying to go off on his own. He stands up in the middle of the room all by himself, and stands for quite a long time, but has yet to walk. Oh well, hopefully soon.
I hadn't worked with him to teach him to blow, so he was a little confused when we tried to get him to blow out his candle. It was sure cute watching him enjoy his cake. Kilee came up to the highchair and picked all the sprinkles off his cake, it was kind of cute!
Our kids are getting so big, we are so proud of them!! It is so much fun to enjoy every stage of their lives. Everyday is enjoyable, with maybe a little frustration, but enjoyable for the most part!!
