Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Our Growing Boy!

Today was Marshall's 18 month check up!! He is growing so fast and doing so well....he is getting so big! He weighed in at 27.86 pounds, which is a little less than when I weighed him a few weeks ago, but he has not been feeling well and not eating as much. That puts him in the 75th percentile for his weight. He is measuring 34.5 inches tall, placing him in the 95th percentile for his height. He is getting so big and is such a joy to have around!! I love it when he says, "mommy.....mommy..." and repeats until I say "what" or "yes, Marshall" then he follows with "Boo". It is really quite cute...the first little bit, like anything else after all day...it gets kind of annoying.

We love Marshall and are so thankful to have him in our lives!!
