Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

He Did It Again!!

Last Sunday I was in the process of making rolls, when my mixer stopped working!! Aaron came running into the kitchen thinking I was hurt by the screams he heard. He soon came to realize while I was physically fine, I am a little mentally skewed! My mixer is my life, I use my mixer almost on a daily basis...I love my mixer!! I was so upset because a new mixer is way more than we could hope to afford right now, but there is no way I can go without my mixer....I would seriously slip into a deep depression! He looked at it, played with it a little then turned to me and told me he could fix it!! A wave of relief came over me, I was so excited to hear those words I cannot even tell you.

He took the mixer apart, found the gear that was worn, looked it up online and ordered it!! It arrived a few days later and Aaron put it in and put the mixer back together!! For about $20 my mixer is working again like new!! My wonderful husband saves us so much money by being handy it is fantastic!! I am so thankful to have such a great guy to call my very own!! I am also very blessed that he puts up with my oddities, he really is awesome!!
