Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

30.....That's A Lot of Candles!

Today we had a 3 in 1! 3 meaningful days, all packaged together in one! Conference, Easter and Aaron's 30th birthday!!! I remember when my mom turned 30 and I thought she was ancient, sorry Mom, and now I am married to a 30 year old! Wow....how time goes by. We celebrated successfully, meaning no house fire, no smoke detector going off and he had the lung capacity to blow out all the candles in one breath!!

All kidding aside, the kids and I are very grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful man in our lives!! He supports us, he loves us and he plays with us!! What more could we ask for? I am thankful every day that I am blessed to be married to such a magnificent man!! He is my perfect better half, some days 2/3. I cannot say enough to express how much he means to me and how grateful I am that he is by my side throughout the trials of life. I can honestly say, I do not know where I would be today without the strength and understanding he gives me!! He is much better to me than I feel I deserve at times and I thank my Heavenly Father for putting us together!!

I love you, Aaron!! Happy Birthday!!
