Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Something Old...Into Something New

Yesterday my dear friend, Angie, came over and spent the whole day teaching me how to transform an old t-shirt into a new fantastic shirt!! A while back I saw her wearing a shirt that was too cute, I complimented her and she told me she had made it!! I was amazed and told her she is so creative and so talented...she told me I could do it too. I laughed. My sewing projects are hemming pants into shorts and those don't always turn out...lol!! Anyway, she came over at 11:00 and we finished around 5!! I felt so bad I had taken her whole day, but of course she was so gracious and said she had fun. She will be coming back next Tuesday to help me make the girls some really cute skirts!! I am so excited to learn from her, she is an amazing teacher...so patient.
