I had run across the street to ask my neighbor a quick question. The kids were supposed to be upstairs doing their nightly cleaning. I am on my way back up the front lawn, when I see Liza running at me yelling something about Marshall is bleeding all down his side!! I take off running into the house to find Marshall sitting on the stairs holding his blanket that is covered in blood. I freak out grab him to see where all the blood has come from and the back of his head is saturated with blood. Liza tells me Caidin hit him, I look at Caidin and asked him, maybe a little too loudly, what on Earth he hit him with!!!??? Caidin starts crying and I run Marshall to my tub to rinse his head and see just how bad it is. Aaron grabs some rags and we start rinsing. There is a little gash on the back left side of his head. The blood made it look A LOT worse than it really is.
Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Boys will be boys! Just tell him chicks dig scars! ;-)
Head wounds always bleed a ton. I'm glad he's doing good!
Poor Guy. It's so scary when ever there is a lot of blood. The most we have had is when Evan got a hold of my razor and cut his lip. Dang that bleed. At least it will heal and the hair will always grow back.
