Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Would You Like Some Tea.....Oh, I Mean Juice?

I recently cleaned out some of my cupboards and had come across my old tea sets from when I was a kid. Eliza was so excited to see them and she wanted to play with them then and there. I told her maybe some other day, after I got the kitchen de-cluttered and such. A few days later she comes running in the house with our neighbor friend, Cassy right behind her. She tells me that Cassy wants to have a tea party. I think she knows I have a harder time telling the neighbor kids no than I do my own. So we pull the tea sets down, make up some juice, get out some chocolate chips and graham crackers and they settle down to a nice tea time.

They boys can't not be involved with whatever the girls are doing, so they have a seat at the table and join in the fun! It brought back so many memories from when Megan and I would have our little tea parties. I even had a little girl from the ward that would want to come and have tea parties with me. It was so fun and now to see my girls enjoying it too, with my same tea set, it was really kinda cute.
