Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Labor Day

Over Labor Day weekend, Aaron's family always goes camping. We did not go this year because I didn't feel up to taking a 10 day old baby camping. We did go up just for the day on Saturday so we could see all of Aaron's family. It was the same camping trip that was Eliza's first camping trip four years ago!! Except that year we got snowed on, and I sat in the car most of the time. This year the weather was pleasant and there was no snow!!

The kids had a good time playing with their aunt Megan and uncle Gregory. Eliza, Kilee and Grandma built a "house" out of sticks. Eliza was so pleased with herself, we had to take a picture!

Kilee showed us all a new talent!! I don't know where she gets it from, but I have to admit...I think I am a little scared. She started dancing around one of the poles of the tent we were sitting under and everyone thought Aaron and I were teaching her some bad habits! It was so funny we all were bustin' a gut!! She is such a goofy girl...I don't know where she picks this stuff up!!?

We got some cute 3 generation pictures of the boys and their daddy and grandpas. Grandpa Russell and Great Grandpa Lee Dale. Marshall's middle name, Coulson, is Grandpa Russell's mother's maiden name in case you were wondering where we got that name from!

So cute! Kilee and Xander must be cut from the same cloth, cause he sure comes up with some funny stuff too! Maybe it was the year...

I'm glad you had a good time and that you decided not to camp this year! I wouldn't want to camp with a 10 day old either!
