This last Friday, Aaron and I took our kids to go and see the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. This was my first temple open house and it was fun to be able to share it with my kids!! The Oquirrh Mountain Temple will be the temple district that we are in following the dedication. It is really a beautiful temple. Kilee saw the picture of a sealing room in the brochure and turned to me and informed me that she was going to get married in that room!! It was so fun to see my kids' reaction to such a beautiful, wonderful place. It is sad to say that even though I live in a valley where I have my choice of 5 operating temples within a half hour of my home...I have not been to the temple in....ashamedly I cannot remember how long. I know there is no reason good enough to not go, but for some reason I have not been. It was so wonderful to be at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and to feel the peace and spirit that the temple can bring into your life.

What a great experience for the kids!
We need to get to that one. My kids liked the Draper Open House and the Twin Falls Open House. Ashley has insisted for a year now that she's getting married in the Twin Falls one.
