Winning is not about headlines and hardware [medals]. It's only about attitude. A winner is a person who goes out today and every day and attempts to be the best runner and best person they can be! Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

Old Arms, New Look!

As I mentioned earlier, I took it upon myself to try and be resourceful and make new arm covers for the arms on our chair. If I had thought about it, I would have done before and after pictures, but I rarely think these days...causes too much pain! Well, I finally finished them after many mistakes and retries. I think they turned out all right, not the factory good, but at least they don't have holes with green foam falling out all over. They are a little thinner than the original because I just used the batting that I took out of the side pocket I took off...the green foam was too trashed to reuse. All in all, I was pretty pleased and eager to move onto the next!

Thanks goes to Angie for getting me to enjoy sewing and having a desire to find new projects!!
